About this Course:

People with NDIS plans employ workers to give them a hand, help and provide support.
This course teaches you how to become a sole trader and provide in-home services such as gardening and cleaning to people with NDIS plans.

You Will Learn:

  • Insight into the NDIS and disability sector
  • Professional conduct and boundaries
  • How to set up and manage your business

The care and support sector is growing and the opportunities for work are huge!

This FREE 5 week course will prepare you for a range of entry level positions in the
local health services including home and community care, land and grounds
maintenance, administration, hospitality, transport, lifestyle assistant, environmental services and more. Learn in a relaxed environment in a small group with tutors who will support students throughout the whole course.

We are working in conjunction with our industry partners Bairnsdale Regional Health Service, Gippsland Lakes Complete Health and Gelantipy Bush Nursing Service who will offer real work insight and direction to employment and education pathways in the sector.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 9.30am - 3pm (two days per week for 5 weeks)
Lakes Entrance & Bairnsdale locations
March 1st - March 31st 2022


- Small Groups, total of 24 hours Online* over 6 weeks

- Thursdays and Fridays 10:00AM to 12:00PM**

This is an ACFE funded course for eligible learners with a low fee of $22.
*Support for studying online can be discussed with the trainer.
**Adjustment to delivery times may be negotiated by class and trainer.
