Success Stories – Beth Dunne from Urban Tree Growers

Name: Beth Dunne

Business: Urban Tree Growers

About Beth: Beth and husband, Christopher, own and operate Urban Tree Growers, in Ripplebrook. Urban Tree Growers supplies advanced deciduous trees to the wholesale and public market. They currently supply throughout Victoria, New South Wales, and South Australia.

Having recently purchased the family business, and new to business ownership, Beth sought the help of the Work My Own Way team, for guidance with developing and implementing a business plan, creating business relationships, and finding  ways to improve the marketing and promotion of Urban Tree Growers. Beth had some great ideas for a new, more innovative direction for the business, and was looking to upgrade their digital presence to drive more traffic to the website.

Beth’s achievements:

Since engaging with the program, Beth has developed a new business plan, and has made fantastic progress in terms of promotion, networking, and developing relationships with potential customers. Beth and the team at Urban Tree Growers also made changes to their processes which allowed them to apply for more local projects. The team at Work My Own Way were also able to connect Beth with key contacts at ICN, and she has since registered and promoted the business on the ICN Gateway as a supplier.
